THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Worldwide (WW) Commercial Partner Enablement Strategy Lead to join AMD's Global Sales Strategy & Planning team to drive turbo growth in AMD's commercial channel business. AMD is at a crucial inflection point in its commercial segment growth, and the engagement and experience we drive with commercial channel partners will be critical for our success.

The WW Partner Enablement & Success Lead is responsible for driving the global strategy and execution of partner enablement and success programs across all regions and partner types. This role ensures that partners are fully equipped to sell, deploy, and support our solutions while maximizing their growth, satisfaction, and long-term success. The ideal candidate is strategic in assessing gaps and developing a plan, a strong collaborator, and a passionate advocate for partner excellence.

Business, industry, and sales acumen within the Commercial Channel space is critical combined with a deep understanding of partner digital engagement platforms.

  • Strategic Approach: Leadership in commercial channel space, with a deep understanding of their GTM and enablement requirements. Ability to align initiatives with broader business goals and partner strategies.
  • Follow Through: The ability to power through daily challenges to execute and finish the job. Ability to achieve quick results within established timelines.
  • Execution: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and grow them to completion, with a wide range of stakeholders and tight timelines. This is a fast-paced role that requires quick action and constant communication.
  • Communication: Outstanding people skills; able to connect with a wide range of audiences, including executives, customers, and non-sales organizations.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner Enablement Strategy & Execution

  • Define, develop and lead a commercial partner enablement strategy aligned with business priorities and partner needs, with particular focus on enabling partner sales and pre-sales teams.
  • Partner with regional sales and enablement teams and AMD's WW SPE organization to build scalable and focused programs targeted to boost AMD enablement within targeted partner segments.
  • Develop and deliver enablement programs (online, workshops, webinars etc.) to ensure AMD sales teams & partners are knowledgeable about AMD programs prior to launch and ongoing.
  • Ensure enablement content is role-based, localized, and aligned with partner segments (VARs, NSPs, Distributors etc.)

Partner Success Management

  • Collaborate with regional teams to monitor partner health and performance metrics.
  • Develop playbooks and success plans tailored to partner segments (e.g., resellers, distributors, MSPs, GSIs).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Channel Sales, Business Units, WW, and Regional Enablement teams to align initiatives.
  • Support partner events with enablement and success resources.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Define KPIs for partner enablement and success programs; track performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Use data and partner feedback to refine programs and drive measurable outcomes.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in partner enablement training, partner success or managing channel programs in a global environment.
  • Proven success in building and scaling training programs for diverse partner ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales models and partner experience lifecycle.
  • Experience with LMS platforms, content authoring tools, and enablement analytics.
  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures with a global mindset.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

BS/MS/ MBA and/or relevant work experience.
