OverviewWe are looking for a Partner Marketing Manager for Small and Medium Businesses business for the Microsoft Security partner Go-To-Market (GTM) team. Microsoft Security is a multi-billion-dollar business with significant growth opportunities over the next several years directly addressing security solutions for small and medium businesses. This position manages small and medium business , go to market promotions. Position is responsible for coordinating marketing and engineering team efforts to assist sales teams reach their revenue goals, assist Microsoft target customers across all distribution channels and assist product engineering improve products with goal of driving increased sales and less friction in the buying process. Qualified candidate will drive end to end packaging, pricing and promotion analysis with finance, business planning, product marketing and engineering helping overcome both technology and business model barriers preventing fast adoption of advanced security technologies with Microsoft's Small and Medium corporate customers.
Responsibilities* Optimize Solution Play messaging for use by partners to drive friction free discussions on Microsoft advanced security products. * In close partnership with product marketing, define small and medium enterprise business execution plays * Optimize sales conversions through a solutions oriented approach and help sales achieve targeted revenue and share objectives through audience appropriate messaging, competitive landscape support for sales objection handling and packaging innovations. * Define required offers, incentives, and programs to drive the business and meet customer and partner requirements in both the Corporate Accounts and SMB segments. * Assist sales in optimizing the security sales model to drive partner attach on enterprise accounts and partner sponsored sales via two tier distribution ( cloud service providers ) * Lead product packaging, pricing and promotion experimentation for the product team in collaboration with sales leadership to drive agile learning and speed to market execution * Lead cross functional engineering and marketing efforts on product changes needed for small and medium sized customers. * Manage promotion rollouts , analysis, reporting and optimization. * Partner with the channel team to drive strong partner adoption of Solution Plays and associated programs (specific emphasis on the top 50 resellers) *Activate and advocate partner ecosystem serving small and medium businesses * Serve as a key Microsoft Security spokesperson to Cloud Service Provider (CSP) ecosystem, helping to evangelize solution value propositions both internally and externally with partners. * Serve as a primary technology subject matter expert for security products within partner community. Help to build enthusiasm and passion with specialist and solution engineering / architect communities. * Operationalize Security design promotion wins into a sustainable business model for long term use |
