We're looking for a Direct Support Supervisor to join our team!

As our Direct Support Supervisor, you're the air traffic controller, the master scheduler, and the head cheerleader all rolled into one! You'll keep the whole program humming by coordinating operations and ensuring we're always regulatory compliant (that's code for "everything's running smoothly and legally").


Your superpowers will be used for hiring, training, and scheduling our amazing staff, making sure appointments and activities are seamless, and keeping meticulous records. Basically, you keep the plates spinning, the team happy, and the people we serve thriving!


What YOU'LL do:



  • Be the Community Connector: Open doors to a fuller life by accompanying individuals to fun social and recreational activities, helping them build meaningful community connections.
  • Ensure Comfort and Safety: Act as the first line of defense by meticulously monitoring living environments and activities, guaranteeing they meet all safety and regulatory standards-because our individuals deserve the best.
  • Be the Calming Presence: Skillfully intervene when challenging behaviors occur, using your training and established behavior plans to de-escalate situations and teach new, positive strategies.
  • Own the Back-Up Plan: Serve as a reliable resource by providing critical on-call emergency support and demonstrating your problem-solving skills by quickly coordinating staff coverage when unexpected needs arise.


SCHEDULE: While this salaried role primarily involves daytime hours, flexibility is required for occasional evening and weekend support, depending on departmental and agency needs. You will also participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

What YOU'LL NEED



  • A passion to serve others with strong attention to detail and an even stronger desire to serve others in a team environment
  • A love of operations, ability to adapt as needed in a growing/changing environment and creating seamless, efficient environments
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while communicating honestly about your timelines, challenges and questions.
  • Associate's Degree in a related field or experience can be substituted in lieu of education.
  • One year experience in a related field
  • Certification in CPR and Med Aide 40 hr or willingness to obtain
