Job Title: Election Worker Location: Raleigh, NC 27610 Duration: 03 Months Contract Job Mode: On-Site Pay rate: $15.00/hour on W2 Without Benefit Shift hours: First (Mon - Fri) Role and Responsibilities: Assist with packing, staging, and loading supplies onto moving trucks. Assist with the setup and break down of equipment and supplies at voting locations across the county. Assist with labor intensive warehouse duties including packing, cleaning supplies and equipment. Provide courier service on a fixed route during the early voting period between the BOE Operations Center and voting locations including: Deliver additional ballots and supplies. Pick up prior day's voted ballots and completed forms. Assist with the preparation of the next day's supplies to be delivered. Complete custody forms for each item delivered and picked up. Maintain and tidy the stock of extra supplies kept on the vans. Assist in reconciliation after elections. Qualifications Requirements: Must be comfortable working in VARIOUS roles which may include physical labor, site setup and equipment assembly, supply inventory general office tasks and other supporting roles Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US. Must be able to sit and stand for at least three hours. Must have reliable transportation. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong organizational and time management skills. Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
