Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $111,100.00/Yr. - USD $185,100.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.


Description

    Provisioning RHEL and CentOS servers in both physical and virtual environments
  • Integrating a variety of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open-source applications within existing RHEL and CentOS environments
  • Troubleshooting quickly and efficiently in Linux-based environments
  • Researching and recommending innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining SSEE INC-F/E and MODS systems
  • Writing and editing any initial, draft, and/or final documents or reports that are required, e.g. Test Plan reviews and comments at the SCI Level
  • Importing and exporting VMs
  • Providing day-to-day program management support, including reporting, task tracking, and follow-up with stakeholders
  • Supporting surge requirements during major events, milestones, or deliverables
  • Collaborating with engineers, analysts, and government personnel to ensure program requirements and objectives are met
  • Working with third party vendors for new capability integration in accordance with project infrastructure regarding design, technical implementation, capability consideration, interface documentation and baseline change (documentation) for new capability acceptance

Requirements

  • Requires a DoD TS/SCI security clearance
  • Associate's degree in computer science, information systems technology or four years of relevant field experience and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • INC -F/E maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with VM environments
  • Ability to follow configuration documentation and procedures is required
  • Work independently but collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide consulting and control design recommendations to reduce risk
  • Security+ or equivalent within 6 months of hire
  • Must be able to perform work within equipment spaces onboard US Navy platforms (occasionally/rare)


Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting Navy NIWC PAC or NIWC LANT programs
  • Familiarity with software integration or system engineering programs
  • Ability to produce executive-level briefings and documentation
  • Ansible/ PowerShell scripting (Beginner- intermediate)
  • Experience supporting Integration and Test Events and familiarity with respective documentation
  • Experience in Agile methods


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL with CI POLY ELIGIBILITY
