Accounts Receivable Specialist II

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist II at Restaurant Technologies, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate customer accounts, ensuring payment terms are appropriate, payments are applied accurately to customer

invoices, and monies are received timely. Your strong foundation in Accounts Receivable, combined with sharp problem-solving and collaboration skills, will be essential in resolving account issues. Your ability to adapt to change will position you for success in our evolving tech environment.

Location and Travel:

This is a fully remote position available anywhere in the continental U.S. with no travel required. Candidates in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area are encouraged to train onsite and may choose to work onsite as much or as little as

they prefer.

Compensation:

The base salary for this position ranges from $26 - 33 per hour, accompanied by an up to 10% annual incentive opportunity. Please note that the exact salary will depend on factors such as geographic location, market conditions, and the candidate's experience.

Primary Job Accountabilities:

• Maintain daily ACH and credit card payment programs
• Update customer accounts for cash application and invoicing
• Understanding of Bank processes for ACH/EFT transactions, identify issues for resolution
• Assist with delinquent account reconciliations
• Complete account reconciliations and generate regular Accounts Receivable reports
• Ensure bank lockbox files are uploaded into the company's ERP system
• Research lockbox posting exceptions and unapplied cash, manually apply payments to invoices, if necessary
• Research and submit customer credit memos, as appropriate
• Report daily on cash and receivables, identify trends and provide feedback
• Assist with customer ownership changes
• Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Obtain sales tax exemption certificates from customers, ensuring all are current
• Approve and establish payment methods for customers (e.g. terms, credit card, ACH, etc.)
• Research customer to grant customer credit limits
• Assist in completing month end A/R closing activities
• Create reporting for collection team and upper management
• Other specific duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience in accounting or related field
• B2B Collections processes
• Intermediate understanding of accounts receivable principles and procedures
• Experience with customer accounts and reconciliations
• Understanding of banking and cash handling
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
• Teamwork - works collaboratively as part of a team
• Communication - effectively communicates with our business partners across the organization, along with our external customers
• Customer Service - manages customer situations and responds promptly and consistently to customer needs
• Organization and Time Management -handles multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Detail-oriented - focuses on data for accuracy
• Problem-solving - reviews multiple sources of information, collects data, and uses intuition and experience to resolve issues for internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business
• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion
