Mgr, Consumer Banking Performance Analytics

Primary Purpose of Job

Manages the Sales Performance Analyst team in the collection, analysis and reporting of sales performance data and other metrics for the Consumer Banking division. Serves as the data analytics expert for all Consumer Banking projects and strategic initiatives.

Major Job Accountabilities

• Provides leadership to the Sales Performance Analyst team in the:
  • Collection and analysis of internal/external data and metrics applied to proprietary models to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer behavior, channel preferences, etc. for branches, Customer Banking Center, Home Loans, Business Banking, and Investment Services.
  • Design and production of standard and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders
  • Translation of complex analytics into understandable language to efficiently communicate insights and act promptly on market trends.

• Responsible for monitoring the strategic relationship between sales, incentives, and business growth.
• Recommends, implements, and drives changes to current sales techniques, procedures, or promotional efforts based on data analytics, market research and emerging trends.
• Ensures the team continually improves standards of data analytics to enable ASB to achieve its business goals.
• Serves as the data analytics expert for ATM, branch optimization, Anytime/Anywhere Banking, and other Consumer Banking projects and strategic initiatives.
• Stays current on emerging industry trends and collaborates with Consumer Banking teammates in the use of data to execute the Bank's objectives.

Experience Required

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the following:

• Data analytics and sales performance management
• Managerial experience

Required Skills or Training

• Working knowledge of bank branch operations.
• Able to analyze and evaluate statistical data.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce CRM is a plus.
• Working knowledge of statistical software, analytical tools and data query program languages, e.g., MS Access, VBA, SQL and Cognos Business Objects is preferred.
