The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our Quality Assurance team.This is an on-site, non-remote position for our North Logan, UT location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writes, reviews, and approves various documents for processes and programs
- Leads efforts to address and resolve nonconforming product and process issues
- Identifies, drives, and implements process improvements and support change management
- Performs and leads internal audits
- Supports other activities associated with SDL's AS9100D certified management system
- This may include, but is not limited to, monitoring and measurement of processes and assemblies, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation, and gathering/analyzing pertinent data to help determine and improve process effectiveness
Required Qualifications:
- 5+years of quality-related work or educational experience
- Ability to work well in a team environment but also self-motivated
- Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Ability to facilitate and promote use of problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action
- Knowledge of the AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard
- Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US person

- Quality Assurance experience in a research and development environment, aerospace, defense, and/or comparable industry
- IPC/J-STD certifications
