Overview
The Jr Digital Asset Manager assists with the maintenance and upkeep of our Asset
Management platform (DAM), and is integral to the implementation and ownership of all
creative asset organization and distribution. Reporting to the Digital Asset Manager, this person
will assist with day-to-day management of the DAM (executing metadata, key word tagging,
rights and usage) and proper delivery of global creative assets. S/he will partner with a multi-
displinary group of teams including Design, Production, Business Affairs, Marketing and external
partners, to ensure optimal organization and inventory methods are in place.
Responsibilities:
* Act as the gatekeeper for all creative assets within the digital asset management
system.
* Responsible for daily operations of ingesting, curating and organizing content; and asset
lifecycle maintenance including asset expiration and digital archiving.
* Responsible for administrative functions within the DAM, such as user permissions and
serves as the point of contact for system maintenance.
* Collaborate across internal departments and regions in the development and
modification of digital workflows to gain further efficiencies.
* Help develop and implement high-level and tactical strategies for organizing, tagging
and storing assets in the DAM and on our internal servers.
* Partner with the Corporate GIS team to establish and maintain standardized framework
and upgrades to DAM System as needed.
* Track and analyze key performance indicators to determine workflow and systems
effectiveness.
* Assure proper translation of contractual information into rights management module in
DAM to allow end users a clear understanding of available usage(s).
* Educate, facilitate and evangelize for proper usage of DAM system across all
departments and regions.
* Serve as the brand power user for the best practices, process adoption and in-house
expert for the DAM solution.
* Stay well versed on latest digital asset management and workflow technological trends.
Qualifications:
* 1-2 years experience working in digital asset management for a large consumer brand
* Excellent communication and verbal skills
* Ability multitask and self motivate
* Extremely well organized, and adapt at working under changing environments and with
changing priorities
* Knowledge of creative file types such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
* Knowledge of the Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of creative production.
