Job Description

Job Objective: Responsible for leading all aspects of the Equipment Program including regional oversight, vendor management, along with oversight and coordination of repair maintenance and processes that supports branch and corporate goals while satisfying the needs of the customer in an efficient and courteous manner.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.



  • Lead and mentor Equipment Supervisors and oversee the daily activities of their Teams and Department
  • Ensure cohesive operations across Teams by aligning processes, priorities, and performance standards
  • Oversee and maintain Equipment inventory and an inventory control program that supports the business and fosters business growth
  • Develop and implement standardized equipment procedures and internal metrics/KPIs that drive consistency and compliance
  • Collaborate with other Teams to resolve complex issues and enhance Customer Experience
  • Monitor and report on department metrics and team performance
  • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for Supervisors and Team members
  • Review and manage departmental expenses, vendor costs, and manage market RFP's
  • Coordinate, manage, and maintain Customer owned equipment and the Loaned Equipment process


Human Resource Management:



  • Provide communication and motivational techniques in supervising, coaching, and disciplining associates
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and quarterly performance updates
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Support and enforce corporate policies and initiatives
  • Manage weekly work schedule and labor costs of associates to avoid excess overtime


Other:



  • Assist in other areas of location as needed
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service
  • Abide by and enforce all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company

Requirements:




  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry or a related equipment field



  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a management or leadership role



  • Strong mechanical skills and experience
