MID-HUMINT TARGETING INSTRUCTOR
Location: Washington, DC | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (Preferred)

Overview

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking an experienced Mid-HUMINT Targeting Instructor to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in executing and enhancing its HUMINT Targeting course. The instructor will provide authoritative expertise across the full spectrum of HUMINT Targeting principles, methodologies, and operations to prepare the next generation of targeting professionals within the Intelligence Community (IC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, support, and deliver training in all areas of HUMINT Targeting and Counterintelligence (CI).
  • Instruct with authority across HUMINT Targeting principles, methodologies, and application to real-world operations.
  • Coordinate with DIA guest lecturers to ensure cohesive and comprehensive course delivery.
  • Develop and maintain professional, accurate, and complete instructional materials.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of HUMINT Targeting, including DoD policies, legal authorities, functions, methodologies, and IT system requirements.
  • Guide students through HUMINT Targeting career development pathways and operational readiness.
  • Administer, evaluate, and synchronize blocks of instruction within the HUMINT training curriculum.
  • Instruct students on HUMINT operations and targeting analysis across diverse threats and targets.
  • Provide training on advanced analysis techniques including pattern-of-life analysis, social network analysis, and Human Factors analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to DIA standards, procedures, and training guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; CI Polygraph preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of applied HUMINT Targeting experience within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
  • Proven experience conducting pattern-of-life, social network, and Human Factors analysis.
  • Mid-to-senior level knowledge of HUMINT operations and ability to instruct students on their application to targeting analysis.
  • Proficiency across the HUMINT Targeting cycle of support to HUMINT operations.
  • Graduate of a recognized IC-level HUMINT Targeting course, such as the Operational HUMINT Targeting Course (OHTC), Targeting Certification Board (TCB), or an equivalent IC program.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market data. DarkStar provides a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and long-term success of our full-time employees.
