Could you be the full-time onsite Senior Human Resources and Labor Relations Partner in Plattsburgh, NY, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your Human Resources and Labor Relations expertise in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment. You'll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll shape and deploy business goals for the Plattsburgh manufacturing facility, driving impactful HR strategies that foster talent growth, organizational effectiveness, and a high-performance culture. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across labor relations, employee relations, and talent management, support leadership development initiatives, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Supporting leadership development on-site to enable managers to mobilize teams and drive strategy effectively. ,



  • Acting as 2nd chair negotiator and lead negotiator (as needed) for labor contracts, including all pre, during, and post-negotiation activities. ,



  • Analyzing current organizational capabilities and identifying gaps to align with business strategy. ,



  • Supporting change programs, organizational effectiveness, and high-performance culture initiatives. ,



  • Coaching business leaders on talent management to ensure the right talent is in the right place at the right time. ,



  • Supporting talent reviews, performance management, and succession planning processes. ,



  • Forecasting future staffing needs and developing strategies to optimize resource and talent allocation. ,



  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA). ,



  • Administering FLSA testing and reviewing job descriptions for qualification alignment. ,



  • Preparing reports for internal stakeholders and government agencies while maintaining proper documentation of employment claims."

  • Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology, or other relevant field. ,



  • 10 years of experience or understanding of resolving complex employee relations issues and labor relations, including grievance processes and unionized environments. ,



  • Knowledge of HR and People Strategies, People Management, and compliance with employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA). ,



  • Certifications for Human Resources Professionals (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP). ,



  • Proven ability to analyze organizational capabilities and develop strategies to address gaps. ,



  • Skills in talent management, leadership development, and performance management. ,



  • Experience in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders. ,



  • Ability to coach and support leaders to mobilize teams and drive strategy. ,



  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel, and experience with HR software (e.g., ADP, Kronos, WFM). ,



  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Salary Range- 125K-151,300K
