We areseekinga professional to join our Village Systems Innovation team as the Director of Field Intelligence.

The Village Systems Innovation team, known as team Forge is DaVita's design and innovation partner for how the Village operates-transforming enterprise-critical systems such as scheduling, workforce planning, inventory, and operations reviews. Forge Directors lead the vision, structure, and execution of multi-workstream innovations that reimagine how DaVita delivers operational excellence at scale.

As a Director, this role balances deep strategic ownership with cross-functional influence. Directors translate enterprise priorities into actionable innovation portfolios, shape system-level solutions, and ensure delivery through focused, high-performing teams. They serve as senior liaisons to field and corporate leaders, aligning work with the needs of patients, partners, and operators.

Forge Directors are accountable for developing and scaling innovations that are not only desirable and feasible-but durable. They lead with clarity, coach for impact, and shape the rhythms, standards, and models that anchor Forge's success.

Location: Denver required, hybrid schedule

Responsibilities

  • System Design & Strategy: Defines the future state of core enterprise operating systems, and leads the development of pathways to get there.
  • Portfolio Leadership: Oversees multiple projects or innovation lanes, ensuring cohesion, resource alignment, and prioritization across the portfolio.
    • Lead key Village initiatives around scheduling, workforce planning, and field intelligence.
  • Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Partners with operational and functional leaders to align on vision, manage trade-offs, and influence decision-making.
  • People Leadership: Coaches team, fostering team growth, accountability, and consistent excellence in execution.
  • Execution Oversight & Scaling: Ensures initiatives progress through discovery, validation, and adoption; develops repeatable models and infrastructure for scale.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MPH, MHA, or similar graduate degree preferred.
  • 8-10+ years' total work experience in progressive roles.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, including direct or indirect reports.
  • Proven ability to influence and build consensus across teams and at leadership levels.
  • Demonstrated strengths in critical thinking, analytics,and innovativeproblem-solvingskills.
  • Ability to think strategically, yet maintain a hands-on role.
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred.

The Salary Range for the role is $133,000.00-$195,000.00 per year.
