Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to support our Data Management team. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring data initiatives are well-defined, documented, and executed efficiently. In addition to core business analysis responsibilities, this role will also coordinate planning, timelines, and deliverables across multiple data-related priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for data governance, quality, and architecture initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Support data lineage, metadata, and data quality documentation efforts.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data dictionaries, glossaries, and control documentation.

Priority Coordination

  • Organize and facilitate planning sessions, status meetings, and working groups.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple data initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation and communication plans.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of tasks and alignment with strategic goals.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a communication bridge between IT, data stewards, and business units.
  • Support change management and training efforts related to new data processes or tools.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on workstream status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably aligned with enterprise programs.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills; experience supporting outcome delivery is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
