Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and executing Lemartec's marketing strategies and business development support initiatives, with a strong emphasis on proposal coordination, marketing collateral, and market intelligence. This role requires a balance of creativity, organization, and initiative to produce compelling materials that strengthen Lemartec's visibility, competitiveness, and brand reputation across construction industry markets, including aviation, industrial, commercial, and sports/entertainment.

The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with operations, business development, and executive leadership to ensure resumes, project sheets, proposals, and marketing communications are professional, persuasive, and aligned with client requirements.

Responsibilities

Proposal Coordination (Marketing-Focused)

  • Manage the marketing aspects of proposal development, including compliance checklists, formatting, graphics, and storytelling.
  • Ensure proposals, SOQs, and presentations reflect Lemartec's brand and effectively showcase qualifications.
  • Maintain and update a library of resumes, project sheets, and marketing collateral for use in pursuits.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical staff to collect accurate project data while focusing on the marketing, narrative, and presentation aspects.

Design & Communication

  • Apply soft graphic design skills (InDesign, Canva, PowerPoint, etc.) to create visually engaging proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables, including proposals, collateral, and digital platforms.
  • Draft, edit, and format marketing content that highlights Lemartec's expertise, experience, and differentiators.
  • Organization & Project Management.
  • Oversee a structured process for updating resumes, project sheets, and supporting materials to align with active pursuits.
  • Track assignments, monitor progress, and report on marketing deliverables to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Coordinate with BD/Marketing team members to distribute workload and maintain quality control.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Research industry trends, client opportunities, competitors, and emerging markets to support business development strategies.
  • Provide actionable insights that inform proposals, presentations, and pursuit positioning.
  • Partner with leadership to identify new opportunities and ensure marketing strategies align with business goals.

Collaboration & People Skills

  • Manage and mentor members of the marketing team, providing clear direction, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Build strong working relationships with operations and technical staff to gather accurate, compelling project and resume content.
  • Partner with business development and leadership to align marketing efforts with client engagement strategies.
  • Confidently collaborate with senior leaders, bringing forward bold, creative ideas to strengthen proposals and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the construction, engineering, or architecture industries.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing and mentoring members of the marketing team, providing clear direction, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Proven success coordinating marketing deliverables for large, complex projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Canva, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Salesforce or CRM experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor content to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Creative thinker with a bold approach to problem-solving and marketing strategy.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to conduct research and synthesize market intelligence into actionable insights.
