Job Title: Mechanical Assembler/Assembly Technician Duration: 6 months (Contract) Location: Moncks Corner SC 29461 Payrate: $17/hr. on w2 without benefits Shift Timing: Split Shift: 11am - 9:30pm Tuesday through Friday-2^nd shift: 3pm-1:30am Mon-Thursday Role & Responsibilities: Performs basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment. Records test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters. Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives. Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specification. Assembles/tests to customer and/or industry standards. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of general mechanical work experience preferred. May be required to lift up to 35 lbs.
