Overview

Are you passionate about connecting great people with meaningful careers? UW Credit Union is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our dynamic People, Strategy & Solutions team. In this role, you'll be a strategic recruiting partner, helping shape the future of our workforce by attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent across a variety of roles-from individual contributors to leadership positions.

As a TA Consultant, you'll go beyond traditional recruiting. You'll bring sourcing expertise, market insights, and consultative support to hiring leaders, all while championing an exceptional candidate experience and promoting UWCU's employment brand. Responsibilities

Recruiting (50%)

    Lead full-cycle recruitment for roles across multiple departments.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to define job requirements and interview strategies.
  • Craft compelling job postings that reflect UWCU's culture and values.
  • Conduct structured interviews and manage candidate communications.
  • Coordinate assessments, background checks, and interview logistics.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and ensure compliance with employment laws.

Sourcing & Pipeline Development (25%)

  • Build and maintain pipelines using proactive outreach and digital tools.
  • Leverage ATS/CRM systems to engage talent communities.
  • Conduct market research and experiment with emerging sourcing platforms.
  • Partner with community organizations to expand sourcing reach.
  • Support DEI efforts through inclusive outreach strategies.

Consultation & Hiring Leader Support (15%)

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders.
  • Train and coach on inclusive hiring and structured interviewing.
  • Facilitate candidate debriefs and provide labor market insights.
  • Collaborate with Strategic People Partners on workforce planning.

Process Improvement (10%)

  • Recommend enhancements to recruiting workflows and tools.
  • Analyze recruitment data and share actionable insights.
  • Support implementation of new technologies and process reviews.
  • Contribute to annual TA planning and documentation of best practices.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Required
  • 2-3 years of experience in recruiting or HR - Required

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sourcing skills and success engaging passive candidates.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions across diverse business areas.
  • Consultative mindset with influence and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in ATS/CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of digital recruiting channels and social media.
  • Analytical skills to interpret recruiting data and trends.
  • High attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism.
