Domestic Operations Coordinator

Staffmark is hiring a Domestic Operations Coordinator to support logistics and transportation operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about logistics, this is your chance to join a growing team in Salt Lake City.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute day-to-day domestic and international shipments.
• Schedule, route, and dispatch freight via air, truckload, LTL, and local carriers.
• Obtain and track Proof of Delivery (POD) for all shipments.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Manage shipment status updates and provide proactive communication to customers.
• Process documentation accurately-manifests, rate quotes, cargo releases, and invoices.
• Use transportation management systems and vendor platforms to monitor shipment flow.
• Maintain customer tariffs, enter data into systems, and update records as needed.
• Provide administrative support including billing, reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Support compliance with FAA security protocols, TSA regulations, C-TPAT, and hazmat procedures.
• Promote safety, efficiency, and teamwork in all aspects of the job.

What You Bring

• 1-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
• Accurate typing and data entry skills.
• Familiarity with TSA, C-TPAT, and hazmat regulations preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Functional understanding of freight forwarding procedures, terminology, and measurements.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
