Your responsibilities
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:15PM Pay Rate: $18.00/hour The Cycle Counter I is responsible for performing daily inventory cycle counts on various materials, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies while adhering to safety and environmental policies. This role utilizes material handling equipment and warehouse systems to maintain inventory integrity and support operational efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same.
- Performs daily cycle counts on raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials, ensuring goals are met as designated for Level I.
- Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and/or locations daily, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specified goals for the role.
- Operate and navigate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including order pickers, reach trucks, dock stockers, turret trucks, and scissor lifts, ensuring safe and efficient material movement.
- Identifies non-conforming parts and moves them to the appropriate quality control areas.
- Assists in developing solutions to address shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Utilizes the warehouse RF system proficiently to process cycle counting transactions and maintain inventory/transaction accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area by following the principles of 6S and demonstrating optimal workplace standards. Identify and adhere to the work area's Optimal State document(s), ensuring compliance with safety and operational expectations.
- Conduct and document daily Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Inspections to ensure safe operation and report any concerns promptly.
- Complete 100% of required monthly safety training on time, applying learned principles to daily work.

- Adhering to the work schedule as assigned, including arriving to work and being ready to work by shift start time, to ensure operational needs to the business are met. Flexible to work overtime when needed, including occasional Saturdays and Sundays.

- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Your profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- Possesses a stable work history and a strong personal desire to work safely and maintain a safe working environment.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment safely operating facility material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jacks, automated storage & retrieval systems, carousel) and picking and packing equipment (e.g. scanner, scale, tape machine).
- Experience operating various forklifts (order filler, stand-up reach, sit down electric, scissor lift)
- Familiarity in working with large ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets with accuracy and efficiency.
- Possesses good hand-eye coordination and is able to perform detailed work with a strong attention to detail and quality.
- Position is required to work efficiently in a fast pace, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data.
- Position is required to be able to lift up to 40 pounds, perform repetitious duties and walk or stand for long periods of time on a daily basis.
- Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skills.
- Proven experience developing work processes to improve outcomes for the team/customers.
Education:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and be able to read, write, and speak in English.
