Position Summary: This important sales-support individual is responsible for Benco's CenterPoint Experience (CPX) within one of the country's largest, most comprehensive dental showrooms. Host our internal and external customers by managing their on-site itinerary and making sure all goals for the CPX are met; ensure dental equipment on display is operable and software is updated for every CPX; demonstrate dental equipment and contribute to product discussion, sharing product knowledge and insight with honesty and integrity in support of the Equipment Specialist. You are considered to be a subject matter expert in Benco Dental, equipment, and the showroom but also has the knowledge and ability to introduce all of Benco's services and solutions. Accumulate, maintain, and communicate strong, up-to-date knowledge of dental equipment and other service and solution offerings from Benco Dental through continuous learning and self-development. Then, armed with the right tools and knowledge, add value to customer conversations and decision-making, honestly and ethically. Educate on dental technology. Build relationships with Benco colleagues across the organization. For example: Marketing and Purchasing departments to ensure the newest and most popular selling products are shown at CenterPoint. Practice Design to plan for successful CPX, review plans, share customer insights and to update and renovate the showroom Events to ensure comfortable, efficient, cost effective CPX travel plans Field Services Technicians to coordinate removal and installation of showroom equipment, maintain showroom equipment inventory Facilities management for renovations, upkeep, cleaning, and capital expenses Inventory Control for annual inventory counts, physical and electronic inventory moves Software & IT Solutions to troubleshoot and update fleet of showroom computers Sales Operations for front-of-house duties and CPX assistance, reporting, and to contribute to annual Equipment Specialist training. May be asked to conduct tailor-made facility tours to sales, interns, vendors and more. Creative, with team, contribute to the development and accuracy of collateral, signage and tools that will entice internal and external customers to visit CenterPoint and improve the CenterPoint Experience, including advertisements and web page. Review and approve CPX requests in CRM program then discuss customer's background and goals with Equipment Specialist in advance to delight the customer and win sales. Arrange in-house CenterPoint Experience itineraries, scheduling experts as needed. Ability to quarterback complex sales demonstrations, as requested, in CAD/CAM, dental imaging, office equipment, and commercial furniture. Build relationships with cross-functional vendor partners for assistance with 1:1 training and materials, demonstrations, samples, literature, software and license updates and other tools. Ensure the showroom is well stocked with collateral (proactively seeking what is current). Facilitate virtual CenterPoint Experience visits. Interview, request proposals and hire contractors, as needed. Project management, especially when renovations coincide with equipment installation. Promote the CenterPoint Experience internally to TRs (Territory Rep) and Equipment Specialists via email, phone calls, and follow ups. Solicits testimonials from CenterPoint Experience customers. Maintain high NPX score via warm hospitality, pride in work, informative and unbiased equipment demonstration, and a comfortable, memorable, and valuable experience. Role may include Sunshine Act expense reporting, lunch duties such as ordering, setting up and cleaning up, shipping and mailing, and tracking CPX metrics and CRM reporting. Attend annual Benco Sales Forum and Benco Equipment Forum. Co-travel with Benco TRs/ES'/Field Service Technicians, when applicable. Set ambitious goals and perform to that standard. Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.
Market Knowledge:
- Understand the dental environment, clinical and business, and monitor trends in dentistry.
- Understand the I.O. Scanner workflow
- Understand the 3D Printer workflow
- Understand Dental CAD software
- Understand the wet and dry milling workflow
Do YOU Meet These Requirements?
- College Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications, or equivalent sales or industry experience.
- Two years dental industry experience required, CAD/CAM experience preferred.
- Sales experience preferred.
