Summary
Responsible for evaluating, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive benefits plans that align with the company's goals and meet the needs of its employees
Essential Functions
-Administer various employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, disability coverage, life insurance, and wellness programs.
-Evaluate existing benefits programs to assess their competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with industry trends.
-Stay up-to-date with relevant federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits.
-Develop and deliver employee communications to explain benefit plans, changes, and updates.
-Collaborate with benefits vendors, insurance providers, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit-related transactions.
-Compile and analyze benefits data, including costs, utilization rates, and employee feedback.
-Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries, concerns, and claims issues.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources Management required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience

  • Human Resources Experience 1-2 years required and Benefits Administration Experience 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • - Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • - Familiarity with various benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, disability coverage, and wellness initiatives.
  • - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with employees, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • - Proficient in using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and benefits administration software.
