Cottage Health is currently seeking a Stroke Coordinator. This position responsible for coordinating and implementing services and activities related to the Primary and Comprehensive Stroke Center at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and provides support for Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital Stroke Ready Certification. In this capacity will develop a sustainable framework for maintenance and accomplishment of external certification processes, lead initiatives for enhanced clinical and quality programs. He/she functions as a liaison between the physicians, nursing staff, allied healthcare professionals, patients and their families. The Stroke Coordinator will work closely with physicians and nursing to ensure evidenced based clinical care pathways are followed, as appropriate. The Stroke Coordinator will serve as a clinical expert in Stroke care and lead the core Stroke team. LEVEL OF EDUCATION
