Robot Welder

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Robot Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding machines used in the fabrication of metal components. This role involves loading parts into fixtures, monitoring the welding process, conducting quality inspections, and performing minor adjustments or troubleshooting to ensure consistent weld quality and production efficiency.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic welding cells according to work instructions and blueprints.
• Load/unload parts into jigs, fixtures, or weld nests.
• Monitor the welding process to ensure proper operation and part quality.
• Inspect welds visually and with gauges to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Make minor programming adjustments or call for support when necessary.
• Perform basic maintenance on robotic equipment and welding fixtures.
• Identify and report defective materials or parts to the supervisor or quality team.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep the workstation clean and organized.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating robotic welders (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, Motoman, Panasonic) preferred.
• Basic understanding of welding principles (MIG, TIG, or resistance welding).
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, weld gauges, tape measures).
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
