Junior All-Source Intel Analyst

ANALYGENCE plays a critical role in supporting the Cyber Intelligence Center, the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) leading entity for comprehensive cyber threat analysis. In support of this mission, we are seeking a Jr. All-Source Intel Analyst to conduct intelligence analysis and assessments to DHS cyber stakeholders at federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial (FSLTT) government levels, and to the private sector owners and operators of U.S. critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:


  • Provide all-source intelligence and information analysis and services for Government review and approval by assisting the Government with analyzing classified all-source intelligence and information related to the DHS mission areas, including cyber threats to US FSLLT and private sector critical infrastructure.
  • Assist the government with researching, analyzing, and drafting all-source intelligence assessments, reports, and briefs on cyber threats to US critical infrastructure for a broad range of DHS intelligence customers, including DHS senior officials, DHS Component operators and policymakers, and FSLTT and private sector critical infrastructure stakeholders. Assessments and reports may include background information, analysis of a problem/issue, technical Indicators of Compromise (IOC), and opportunities for action against the issue.
  • Provide data entry support for Intelligence Center databases to include its database of malicious cyber activity against federal, state, and local government, and critical infrastructure networks derived from DHS information and Intelligence Community and law enforcement reporting. Data processing to include aggregating data to production of outputs such as charts to confirm the accuracy of the data and charts displaying specific data sets.
  • Assist in responding to field requests and identification of relevant intelligence, coordinate assessments, and request downgrades to facilitate intelligence support to the field related cyber and critical infrastructure threats.
  • Provide quick response support which may include intelligence collection and analysis supporting crisis situations, critical homeland security events, periods of heightened threat, activities directed by the White House, Secretary, Component Heads, Director of National Intelligence, or the Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis.
  • Assist in the assessment of milestone tracking and strategic intelligence requirement development relating to scenario planning for "multiple futures" workshops and ongoing strategies relating to long-range intelligence planning capabilities.
  • Requires TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution with preferred concentrations in areas such as Intelligence, National Security, Homeland Security, Regional Studies, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Communications, History, Journalism, Project Management.
  • 3 years of experience working on an intelligence services contract/task order including experience supporting intelligence operations and production, cyber threat analysis and production.
  • Intelligence Community (IC) experience desired; strategic, regional, or cyber intelligence analysis experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of INT-specific analysis techniques as required and overall understanding of I&A intelligence research, analysis, and production process.
  • Knowledge of DHS component missions, and the role of I&A in supporting the DHS Intelligence Enterprise, IC, and FSLTT.
  • Possesses working knowledge (preferably hands-on experience) with databases and software programs used in the intelligence environment.
  • Must possess excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills to communicate factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, often under pressure and tight deadlines that meets or exceeds established analytical standards.
