Job Description

Project Manager supporting our United States Corps of Engineers (USACE) in the Los Angeles, CA district. With limited supervision, handles multiple types of mid to large-scale programs (programs typically more than $1,000,000 in scope).

Specific responsibilities include the technical, schedule, and budget requirements, in accordance with the customer contract, and compliance with applicable FAR & DFAR regulations..

Develops and coordinates schedules, budgets, subcontractors, etc. as needed.

Prepares and coordinates periodic reports, studies, presentations, etc. and presents as needed.

Able to work independently and experienced in managing/meeting client expectations.

Demonstrates ability to get along with coworkers, customers and visitors.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements



  • Position requires bachelor's degree and 15 years of previous project and/or program management experience.
  • Experience in Program Management, Cost Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resources Management .
  • Background in USACE Civil Works highly desired.
  • Able to read and interpret documents, engineering drawings.
  • Able to write routing and non-routine reports and correspondence.
  • Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret a variety of instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

Federal Government Clearance:

This position may require the ability to obtain government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government to obtain an access authorization prior to employment and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
