This role reports to the Eastside (Rigsby) walk-in center, and will support other locations as needed. Receives payments from customers in a face-to-face environment for bills rendered, cash checks within assigned limits, and accurately post customer transactions. Balances teller funds against daily transactions and prepares deposits. Handles routine customer inquiries and directs customers to the appropriate department or CPS Energy website. Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Experience in cash handling activities.
Candidates must be fluent in reading/writing in both Spanish and English.
Possess a valid driver's license with a history of a safe driving record per CPS Energy policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task various critical work assignments proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment and in a professional manner.
Ability to possess and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Consistently maintains a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism and communicates the importance of both to others.
Ability to effectively use a calculator/10-key.
Ability to work at all customer service centers as needed.
Flexibility to work different works schedules and extended hours (overtime will be required).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail and scheduling
Must have a valid class C Texas Driver's license with a favorable driving record. Preferred Qualifications

Working Environment
Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer, and calculator.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events.
After hours work may be required. Work schedule may vary, and occasional overtime may be required. Physical Demands
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
