About the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion: Located in Hillcrest, the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion is a state-of-the-art, 250,000-square-foot medical facility designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of our region. Spanning six floors, this advanced facility is home to key clinical programs and offers specialized diagnostic, treatment, and surgical services. DESCRIPTIONUnder the supervision of the Department Supervisor, the Front Desk Receptionist performs a variety of clerical duties to support daily patient services within clinical areas. This role manages all clinic calls following UCSD Experience and telephone guidelines, including triaging calls and directing them to the appropriate staff. The Front Desk Receptionist provides exceptional customer service by greeting patients upon arrival, overseeing registration and insurance verification, collecting co-payments, and processing daily deposits. They also schedule and confirm patient appointments accurately, offering clear directions and detailed information. Serving as a key liaison among physicians, nurses, and Radiation Oncology staff, this position requires proficient use of multiple computer systems simultaneously. Additional duties are assigned as needed to support the clinic's smooth operation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $57,399 - $71,347 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $27.49 - $34.17 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
