What does a Director of IT Infrastructure do at Swire Coca - Cola?
The Director of IT Infrastructure will lead the strategy, operations, and teams responsible for the enterprise architecture in terms of process, systems and data at Swire, along with the Systems Engineering team. The team will ensure a consistent method and approach to provide technical guidance and operations in support of the enterprise business goals. The Director of IT Infrastructure is responsible for managing budgets and vendors that will drive technological innovation and automation across the IT systems and environments. Additional key responsibilities include developing enterprise architecture and systems roadmaps, managing staff and developing talent while collaborating with other IT departments and the business to align IT infrastructure with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities



  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and oversight to the IT Infrastructure team to drive the prioritization and delivery of projects, ensuring these initiatives align with the company's strategic objectives. Work with IT and business leaders to develop annual plans and budgets for major initiatives. Identify areas of operational improvement within Swire IT Infrastructure
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute IT enterprise architecture and systems roadmaps and strategy
  • Leadership and Team Development: Foster a high-performance culture within the team. Promote collaboration, innovation, and accountability by developing and improving the playbook, skills, tools, processes and KPI's used by the IT Infrastructure group. Recruit, develop and manage direct and indirect reports, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to succeed
  • Team Leadership: Managing, mentoring, and developing the IT team members fostering a culture of technical excellence and diversity
  • Operational Oversight: Direct the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of all IT enterprise architecture and systems
  • Budget Management: Create and managing the IT infrastructure budget, overseeing spend, and enabling cost-reduction activities where applicable
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate with and manage relationships with technology vendors
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with key IT and business stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across the organization. Develop, review, and publish periodic IT Infrastructure dashboard health metrics, analyze, and recommend actions for improvement
  • Operational Process Excellence: Champion adherence to the standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve project outcomes. Measure IT Service delivery, value and outcomes and internal customer satisfaction
  • Technology Innovation - Researching, evaluating, and championing new technologies to drive agility, performance, and business value


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems required and
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems preferred
  • 10+ years IT Infrastructure experience including enterprise architecture and systems engineering required
  • 5+ years people leader role leading an IT Team in a large enterprise required
  • 4+ years experience using Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, etc. required
  • 3+ years experience in food/beverage industry or CPG or other manufacturing industry required
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to formulate and execute long-term IT infrastructure strategies
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Guiding and inspiring teams while developing staff skills and fostering a positive work environment
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies, enterprise architecture and systems engineering
  • Communication Expertise: Strong facilitation, collaboration and documentation skills. Must be able to communicate effectively both in speech and writing at an Executive Level with confidence
  • Team player: Works well in a team environment but holds individuals accountable. Strong collaboration skills to help a team or work group achieve its goals
  • Proactive: Seeks out information, answers, etc. without needing to be pushed to do so. Ability to quickly process information and distill into decisions, issues, items requiring action
  • Building Partnerships: Experience partnering with the business/multiple teams to develop strategic enterprise and systems roadmaps and measuring Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
