Business Operations Department

As a part of the Vantage Operations team, the Business Operations department is responsible for ensuring standards for operation performance, maintaining customer leases, producing monthly customer electivity bills, generating regular reports, and supporting Operational Effectiveness. The Business Operations department also works closely with all Vantage departments to ensure customer success from the construction process through daily operations and delivery activities.

Vantage is looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented, hands-on Operations Systems Analyst to support the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of our ServiceNow platform. This role will focus on supporting the existing instance configuration, working with the product owner and platform architect to design and deploy enhancements to workflows and development of new functionality. A key responsibility will be asset onboarding into the CMDB, auditing and improving its quality while supporting the Site Operations teams with preventative maintenance scheduling, and operational process automation to enhance service delivery and workflow governance.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

Key aspects:

  • Maintain system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Onboard and maintain Configuration Items (CIs) in the CMDB, ensuring data integrity and alignment with asset hierarchies and alarm management structures.
  • Configure and optimize maintenance schedules using Work Order Management modules to support field operations and customer reporting.
  • Design and implement ServiceNow workflows and enhancements to support operational processes, including change management, incident handling, and preventative maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and training materials for platform use, including system upgrades and audit support.
  • Work closely with site teams, service desk, and IT to ensure platform alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data center operations and Service Now use. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes and tools used by the Critical Facility Operations teams.
  • Support our business strategies and standardisation of systems and processes, and process improvements in reporting capabilities.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure that requirements are clearly documented, understood, communicated, planned and within the design of the system or process solutions and provide updates on milestones.
  • Contribute towards improved business process maturity by identifying and prioritising improvement projects and implement changes to processes and operations to improve data capture.
  • Travel is expected to be less than 5%, occasionally for training purposes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analysis or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow administration and development.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB structure, asset lifecycle, and ITIL processes.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling and field service modules.
  • Familiarity with scripting (JavaScript), UI policies, and data import sets.
  • ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical skills with the ability to exercise clear and sound judgement, while demonstrating solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail and a High level of accuracy in written materials.
  • Able to adapt quickly, demonstrating a can-do attitude

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in ServiceNow administration or a related area.
  • Experience in the critical facilities or operations industry.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks.
