Summary
As an integral member of NYPA's Strategic Supply Management department, the professional serves in a leading role to advance data analytics,continuous risk assessment and monitoring capabilities as part of the department's key digitalization strategies. The role will be tasked with expandingand bringing innovative approaches to Strategic Supply Management's current processes to embed analytical techniques throughout the procurementlifecycle and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of procurement activities. Success in this role will require strong partnerships among members ofthe Strategic Supply Management department and business area management to influence the mindset for data analytics, identify data sources, interpretdata, and build innovative solutions to gather data from various sources to generate insights, identify emerging risks, and improve business processes,KPI's and controls. The Senior Functional Technology Analyst will work with all levels of management within the organization and key stakeholders within Information Technology in buildingand generating reports and visualizations. The role requires strong data analysis skills, outstanding organizational skills, exceptional interpersonal relationship skills, the ability to workindependently, and to manage competing priorities effectively. The role may require participation in FOIL or other regulatory data requests. Knowledge ofprocurement processes and data analytics related certifications are a plus. Researches and applies knowledge of existing and emerging data management principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions. Develops tools, techniques, and theories to facilitate ongoing research activities of the organization. Uses predictive and prescriptive analytics tools to forecast what may happen using probabilities and the current confidence levels. Designs, develops, and manages data centric solutions. #LI-VB1 Responsibilities

The estimated salary range for this position is: $87,000 - $119,900. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
