Responsibilities
The Systems Architect will support enterprise Information Technology (IT) through expertise in Systems Engineering and Software Development. The Systems Architect will be developing architectures to integrate full IT stack technologies across global enterprise computer systems and networks in a secure multi-cloud environment. The Systems Architect will also be responsible for architecting data management solutions to include data tagging, cataloging, security, governance, and access control. Duties:
- Document architectural rules.
- Diagram interim and future architectures that capture the transition from current-state to future-state.
- Define/communicate the integration expectations for all IT services across the architectures.
- Develop design patterns that non-enterprise services/systems can use to achieve Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
- Maintain consistency with IC direction.
- Create a ZTA playbook based on the architectural rules.
- Brief all the above when needed at working levels, corporate boards, and IC engagements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
- BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
- Demonstrated knowledge of solutions to complex applications problems.
- Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and reviews computer system capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise data strategy, data governance practices, data stewardship principles, data architecture principles, data standards, and metadata management best practices.
- Experience with successful full lifecycle software development projects.
- Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories.
