As part of the UCLA Health Center for Nursing Excellence,
the Quality Improvement Healthcare Specialist is responsible for the planning,
design, coordination, and implementation of nursing designation activities,
performance improvement initiatives, special projects, and nursing
visibility/marketing efforts across the health system.

In this role, you will:

* Lead
and support system-wide nursing initiatives and national designation programs.

* Collaborate
with nursing leadership to design project plans, set timelines, develop teams,
and assign responsibilities.

* Facilitate
projects that strengthen patient outcomes and advance nursing excellence.

* Develop
and track metrics, compile and analyze data, and prepare reports to demonstrate
outcomes and progress.

* Serve
as a project manager, facilitator, consultant, and analyst
to ensure goals are effectively executed and sustained.

Salary: $116,300 - $264,600 annually

Qualifications

We're seeking a highly
skilled, self-motivated healthcare professional with:

* Master's
degree (or equivalent)
- required

* Five
or more years of progressive healthcare management experience
in clinical
operations, program development, and strategic/business planning - required

* Comprehensive
knowledge of healthcare delivery systems
, including strategy, operations, and
financial management

* Proven
ability to lead and develop high-performing teams,
fostering trust, accountability, creativity, and innovation

* Expertise
in strategic planning, project execution, and process
improvement
, with a track record of achieving measurable results

* Demonstrated
ability to build strong collaborative relationships
across nursing, medical staff, and leadership, and to effectively manage change

* Commitment
to quality, patient-centered care, continuous improvement, and
productive, respectful teamwork

* Strong
problem-solving and decision-making skills,
with the ability to approach issues from multiple perspectives and implement
effective solutions

Preferred
qualifications:

* Experience
working within a system-wide Magnet program,
ideally in a Level 1 Trauma and/or academically affiliated medical center
