The Quality Auditor role in Rensselaer IN, is responsible for conducting independent and objective audits across all shifts and departments (Active, International, UPS, and VAS) within the Distribution Center. This role ensures the accuracy of shipping and receiving processes by identifying and correcting errors such as miss-picks, overages, and shortages, while maintaining records and required documentation. The Quality Auditor will also support continuous improvement efforts by investigating root causes of errors and implementing corrective actions.

Hours of Work:

* 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (overtime: 3:30 AM - 2:00 PM)

* 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM (overtime: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM) Rotating assignments across additional shifts as required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality audits across multiple departments and shifts.

  • Verify accuracy of pick lists and reprint as needed.

  • Research and resolve backup location issues using WMS.

  • Process pack details and maintain records (e.g., wave reports, monthly reviews).

  • Run and distribute daily reports to staff as required.

  • Provide administrative support and complete special projects assigned by management.

  • Release, lock, or cancel systematic tasks and resolve allocation/inventory issues.

  • Prioritize orders by customer requirements and deadlines.

  • Perform incoming inspections and product rework, reboxing, or returns if necessary.

  • Support floor operations by providing required documentation in a timely manner.

  • Operate powered industrial equipment (PIE) to move, stage, or reallocate inventory.

  • Utilize RF and voice-picking systems to verify transactions.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

  • Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT, environmental, and PPE requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform both light and heavy tasks.

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

  • Strong planning, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and internet navigation.

  • Experience with WMS, Execution Dashboard, Oracle, and RF/voice-picking systems.

  • Ability to operate all powered industrial equipment.

  • Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools (tape measure, caliper).

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Preferred / Technical Competencies:

  • Experience in auditing, quality control, or distribution center operations.

  • Strong data entry and documentation maintenance skills.

  • Familiarity with inventory systems and dashboard reporting tools.

Other Competencies:

  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to rotating assignments.

  • Demonstrates safe work habits and strong attention to detail.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team.
