Aircraft Parts Coordinator
Location: Torrance, CA - Hybrid
Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Employment: Non-Exempt, Direct-Hire, Full-Time
A global aircraft part trading company is seeking a Coordinator in Torrance, CA. As a Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating client parts repairs. This role requires strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills to effectively manage customer repair process, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts. Logistics coordination experience is a big plus.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
Accurately input repair orders into the company system. Prepare repair order documents based on shipment lists of repair orders. Manage the repair process, overseeing delivery control, and liaising with repair shops, teardown facilities, and warehouse personnel.
Build and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers and customers.
Analyze repair inquiries and orders, ensuring cost-effective processing.
Address and resolve customer claims, escalating issues to supervisors when needed.
Learn product and technical details, including CMM and IPC standards.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently within specified timeframes.
Perform additional duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (Intermediate level).
Basic math and calculation skills (e.g., applying discounts, calculating fees, or totals).
Experience in B2B customer service and/or logistics is a highly preferable.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Working experience with Japanese company is a plus. Punctual, reliable, and a team player.
