Materials Management Coordinator, 1.0 FTE, Ridgewood Campus, FT, Day shift

To coordinate routine work activities and job-related functions of assigned staff and receive, stock, and distribute all vendor supplied products, linens, other materials and equipment as needed to end user areas. May function independently with limited direct supervision or with more routine direct supervision.

High School diploma or equivalent. Post high school education preferred.

Minimum 2 years, 3 years preferred, with experience in materials handling position encompassing ordering, receiving and distributing supplies and equipment. 1 year supervisory or lead experience required.

Driver's License - current and valid New Jersey driver's license. Employees must adhere to all procedural guidelines in HR Policy 1-13 including demonstrating an acceptable driving record for the duration of their employment as long as driving continues to be a responsibility of the job. Requires good eye-hand coordination. Basic mathematical skills required. Ability to learn medical supply and equipment terminology. Ability to operate computer terminals and printers. Ability to organize workload and ability to cope well under emergency and stressful situations. Ability to work cooperatively with members of the healthcare delivery team, staff, and co-workers. Good organizational skills and adapts to ever changing environment.
