PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $147,100.00-$179,700.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $114,400.00 - $212,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

BENEFITS

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

As the Sr. Manager of Knowledge Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing BECU's Knowledge Management strategy. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of the Knowledge Management department, driving the organization forward with your deep understanding of Credit Union products, services, and departments. Your contributions will support organization-wide initiatives, making a significant impact on BECU's goals.

To join our dynamic team in this role, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, SC or GA. If you're located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance to our Tukwila Headquarters (TFC), we encourage you come into the office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays each week.For those candidates that live outside the commutable distance to TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be primarily remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Strategic Development: Develop and maintain information as a strategic asset to support BECU objectives and enhance employee performance.

  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional leadership to align strategies, drive initiatives, and foster a culture of collaboration, shared accountability, and end-to-end thinking.

  • Information Management: Capture, create, and make information available quickly and clearly for effective use by others in the organization.

  • Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the usability, relevance, timeliness, accessibility, and maintenance of BECU information and knowledge bases while leveraging employees as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

  • Technology Solutions: Identify and implement effective technology solutions to ensure ease-of-use of BECU information and knowledge bases.

  • Knowledgebase Management: Manage and maintain the online knowledge bases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and currency of information.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to develop and encourage employee performance.

  • Performance Monitoring: Ensure timely and accurate services through managerial leadership, direction, and effective performance monitoring.

  • Enhancements: Identify and promote opportunities for enhancing knowledge management systems.

  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with internal customers, vendors, and third-party representatives to ensure consistent operation of Knowledge Management systems.

  • Operational Information: Provide analysis, preparation, validation, and timely delivery of operational information to staff.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations, ADA requirements, and Credit Union policies as they pertain to BECU products and services.

  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all Credit Union employees to ensure coordination and exchange of information.

  • Work Full-Time with Flexibility: Be available for full-time hours, with additional time as needed to meet objectives and deadlines.

  • Travel as Needed: Travel between locations to support teams and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, communications, or equivalent work or educational experience.

  • Typically requires a minimum of five to seven years of experience developing, implementing, and managing an enterprise-wide knowledge management department, including strategy, systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Typically requires a minimum of three to five years of experience in a management capacity.

  • Typically requires a minimum of three to five years of experience in corporate communications.

  • Experience managing projects required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Financial institution experience.

  • Strong analytical and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.

  • Ability to interact and partner with all levels of BECU employees for the planning and execution of communication and knowledge sharing.

  • Effective leadership and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to set goals and objectives, remaining flexible to changes.

  • Proficient PC skills, with the ability to learn new software.
