About The Position The Distributed Energy Resource (DER) Integration Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting Distribution Operations with the deployment of DER/DERMS systems, contributing to Wildfire Mitigation efforts, and providing operational support for the Distribution Control Office (DCO). This role ensures safe, reliable and efficient integration of distributed energy technologies into the grid while supporting the company's clean energy transition goals. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required, Electrical Engineering preferred. Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred. Real experience in operations with distribution or transmission preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Knowledge of specific Ameren applications (e.g., OAS, DOJM) preferred. Basic knowledge of budgeting systems is also preferred. Additional Information Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided for qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $69,300.00 - $133,900.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
