Job Description:

Baptist Health is seeking a Full-time CT Tech. With limited supervision, this role executes computed tomography imaging while gathering patient histories and preparing necessary information to complete records. The individual notifies appropriate personnel for equipment services and preventive maintenance, orders and stocks supplies, and manages patient flow in the absence of the Team Leader. Responsibilities include producing quality images for radiologist review, preparing accurate records, verifying patient identity and orders, following department protocols, continuously monitoring patients during exams, and using radiation protection measures. The role also assists radiologists as needed. Proficiency with EPIC and Enterprise Imaging systems is required to complete and manage imaging studies. Quality control duties include performing equipment QC, maintaining assigned rooms, restocking supplies and linens, and reporting equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology.

  • Active KBMIRT required at time of hire.

  • ARRT or NMTCB with CT certification required.

  • CT Registry is required. Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain CT certification within one year of employment. When in house training occurs, employee has 16 weeks of training before their one year period begins where they have to obtain CT certification.

  • Current BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
