Job Description:
We're looking for a full time, Explosive Operator.
This position pays $22.90 per hour! As the Explosives Operator, here's the work you'll do: * Operates a computer intecont, a loss-in-weight feeder and thermocouple thermometer for melts using kettles (5 gal., 50 gal., and 250 gal.) * Activates and monitors systems associated with Explosive Melt System for all types of explosives. Ensures there are explosives ready for each pour at the start and end of each day. * Complies with operation-approved standard operating procedures. * Coordinates pre and post system checks and cleans up as required on all floors. * Coordinates pre and post system checks and cleans up as required on all floors This role is for you if you have these skills: * Safety awareness and commitment at all times. * Decision making skills * Mathematical skills * Effective communication skills * Computer literac And if you have these qualifications: * High School and/or equivalent. * Minimum 6 months experience in operating and monitoring of production equipment. * Forklift License preferred We care about our employees and it shows.
