Intern- Engineering

Major Tool & Machine is looking for stand-out Engineering students to participate in paid Summer internships. The ideal candidate will have some manufacturing experience. Any machining or welding knowledge or experience would be a huge plus.

Project duties will be determined and assigned by the Engineering Team Leader. Possible tasks may include:
o Assisting with quotes for potential projects
o Creating metric charts to track current project results
o Supporting continuous improvement efforts on shop floor
o Modeling/designing fixtures for projects
o Developing training material to support documented processes
o Working with shop floor team leaders and managers to provide engineering/technical support to improving methods for manufacturing

Job Qualification Requirements:

Educational Experience - Degree Requirements: MET, MfgET, ME, or IE, and must be completing sophomore or junior academic year currently.
