Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. Dedicated to serving those who defend the US and warfighters, Nisga'a MOSTT offers Military Operations support and Specialized Tactical Training (MOSTT). Nisga'a MOSTT's services include aviation and military training, cybersecurity, intelligence gathering and analysis, and simulation and exercise support, as well as aviation flight logistics support and unmanned aerial vehicle support. Summary: The Capability Development Analyst will provide subject matter expertise in logistics readiness, requirements development, and sustainment integration in support of the U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC) Sustainment Capabilities and Integration Directorate (SCDID). This role is critical in aligning current logistics and sustainment practices with Army modernization priorities through comprehensive DOTMLPF-P analysis, capability assessments, and requirements development. The analyst will work closely with Cross Functional Teams (CFTs), Capability Development and Integration Directorates (CDIDs), and other Army and Joint organizations to assess and integrate future force concepts and capabilities.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Support AO-level IPTs and WGs to review sustainment doctrine, modernization documents, and assess support impacts of modernization initiatives using DOTMLPF-P analysis.
- Collaborate with CFTs, AFC CDIDs, PMs, and other Army organizations to align logistics with modernization priorities.
- Plan, integrate, and assess DOTMLPF-P initiatives in live, constructed, and simulated exercises to enhance training and interoperability.
- Serve as SME for logistics readiness, requirements IPTs, and capability development for CFT and ground combat systems.
- Analyze and substantiate sustainment implications across the Army Modernization Enterprise; develop Comment Resolution Matrices (CRMs) for document reviews.
- Identify and assess capability gaps; develop solution approaches for CBAs and CRCs; contribute to Pathfinder Roadmap and related modernization efforts.
- Review and provide recommendations on JCIDS capability documents, Energy KPPs, Supportability Analyses, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, and test/engineering data.
- Prepare reports, meeting documentation, MSRs, SIGACTs, and briefings in accordance with contract requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of DOTMLPF-P framework and JCIDS capability development process.
- Ability to conduct complex capability gap analyses and provide actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (SharePoint, databases, virtual servers).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for developing reports, briefings, and formal assessments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience.
- Experience in capability development, sustainment integration, and Army modernization processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting AFC, FCC, or Army modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with CFT operations, CRC development, and Capability Based Assessments (CBAs).
