Ziegler CAT is looking for a Benefits Specialist responsible for administering, communicating, and evaluating retirement plans and health benefits for Ziegler employees. The Benefits Specialist will work on-premise at our Bloomington corporate offices.
Responsibilities:
Performs the day-to-day administration of the company's retirement plans including 401(k) and pension; defined benefit retirement plan includes preparation of benefit calculations, managing record keeper relationship Analyzes current benefits offerings evaluating the usage, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience, and competitive trends in benefits programs Accesses employee pay information as it relates to 401k, life insurance, and other related areas Ensures that all procedures and processing are in compliance with government regulations and plan provisions Maintains integrity of participant data as entered in the company's information systems Works with record keeper and other consultants in preparation of non-discrimination tests and communicates corrective actions Prepares required regulatory notices, such as Summary Annual Report, Annual Funding Notice, etc. and ensures accurate and timely communication to plan participants Performs timely submission of Forms 5500 and other regulatory filings Responds to inquiries from employees and retirees and performs one-on-one employee training and group employee training
Qualifications:
4-year degree required or equivalent work experience 3-7 years 401(k) and Defined Benefit Plans experience Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Excellent customer service skills Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Analytical and detail-oriented Personal attributes:Learning Orientation, Efficiency, Commitment /Dependability, Attention toDetail, Integrity, Team Player

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 to $87,500.00
Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
