Department Summary UNT PDS (Printing and Distribution Services) Mail Services Position Overview This position is responsible for assisting in the operations of Printing & Distribution Solutions' Mail Center. The employee picks up and delivers mail across campus on an assigned route. In addition, Mail Services picks up and delivers mail to Eagle Post in the union daily. Minimum Qualifications 1 year experience with USPS, FedEx or other shipping organization. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of mail processing and distribution. Required License/Registration/Certifications Driver's License required. Job Duties
Physical Requirements * Communicating with others to exchange information. *Lifting and Moving objects up to 20 pounds. * Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces. * Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment. * Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. * Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like. * Lifting and Moving objects up to 50 pounds. * Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. * Operating machinery and/or power tools. * Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
