Primary Duties

1. Provide technical support for the installation, operation, and maintenance of control, measurement, and SCADA equipment related to engines, compressors, auxiliary equipment, and well facilities.

2. Testing, calibrating, and maintaining engine and compressor control equipment including associated Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Distributed Control (DCS) systems.

3. Testing, calibrating, and maintaining auxiliary equipment, gas conditioning, well, and other associated control equipment.

4. Reviewing control, measurement, and SCADA information within assigned area and scheduling required operation and maintenance activities to be performed in order to increase accuracy and integrity.

5. Reviewing performance of facilities and implementing required maintenance or modifications needed to improve efficiency as well as monitoring and control capabilities.

6. Performing required code compliance activities related to plant facilities.

7. Performing required code compliance activities, measurement testing, calibration, and routine maintenance activities related to plant facilities.

8. Maintaining accurate records to demonstrate compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.

9. Performing activities to ensure and support responsiveness to all system emergencies.

10. Interfacing with supervision, work group, the appropriate gas control and engineering organizations to define and recommend control, measurement, & SCADA requirements for new installations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Educational/Experience Level
1. Associates degree in engineering technology, electronics or computer science or a related field and two years related experience in operations, maintenance and troubleshooting gas pipeline facilities; or
2. A general educational knowledge acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and three years related experience in operations, maintenance and troubleshooting gas pipeline facilities.

Communication Skills
Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

Numeric Skills
Requires the ability to apply research methods, and/or advanced statistical and mathematics.

Computer Skills
Requires basic computer skills in order to utilize various software applications for developing documents, reports and graphics.

Physical Demands
1. Ability to generate 125-foot pounds of force, pushing and pulling, at a contact point of 70 inches. (Ex: operating valves) 2. Ability to generate 105-foot pounds of vertical, downward force, at a contact point of 70 inches. (Ex: operating valves) 3. Ability to lift and carry 38 pounds. (Ex: lifting and carrying materials or buckets) 4. Ability to ascend/descend 30 rungs on a ladder. 5. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch. 6. Ability to walk a distance of 500 feet.

Work Conditions
Works in a field environment.
Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.

Other Requirements
Requires the acute sense of sight and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) and strong sense of smell.
As a Safety-Sensitive position, pre and post-employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.
