The Nuclear Site Facilities and Response Specialist performs inspections, testing, and minor/preventative maintenance on site fire protection alarm systems and fire suppression systems/equipment. Monitors and maintains the site transient combustible and hot work programs. Performs inspections, testing, and minor/preventative maintenance on site beyond design basis event mitigation equipment. Sets up and operates portable pumps, pumper-trucks, loaders, portable generators, and hauling and support equipment. Provides support to laborers, supplemental employees, and contracted personnel in the day-to-day activities to ensure all areas of the Nuclear Station are safe and that fire protection and FLEX equipment and systems are in working order and ready to respond. Works within plant procedures to provide fire watch, oil/hazmat emergency response, adverse weather response, heavy equipment operations, and forklift operations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experiences (Minimum Requirements)
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $72,800 - $93,600. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
