SALARY RANGE $29.44 - $47.34WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Waukesha County's Department of Health & Human Services is recruiting for a Full-Time Clinical Therapist (may underfill as Senior Mental Health Counselor) to be a Crisis Response Unit (CRU) Clinician with a work assignment at the City of Waukesha Police Department. This position will provide mobile crisis services. This position will work directly with law enforcement officers to provide the community with rapid mental health response to crisis situations. The expected work schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm. CLASSIFICATION SPECIFICATION The department may choose to fill this position as a Clinical Therapist. The 2025 salary range for Clinical Therapist is: $34.07 - $47.34. Clinical Therapist Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: The department may choose to underfill this position as a Senior Mental Health Counselor. Senior Mental Health Counselor Minimum Training & Experience Requirements: 1. a. Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with a major in sociology, social work, psychology or a closelyrelated field. 1. b. Two years of professional experience in the field of mental health including one thousand hours of experience delivering services to the chronically mentally ill and their families. - OR- 2. a.Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with at least four courses in sociology, social work, or psychology. 2. b. Three years of professional experience in the field of mental health including one thousand hours of experience delivering services to the chronically mentally ill and their families. 3. Master's degree from a recognized college or university in sociology, social work, psychology, or a closely related field may substitute for one year of the required experience.
