Join us as our newest Business Development Manager in Human Health

As a Business Development Manager in our Human Health division, you will be responsible for driving B2B sales of our probiotic solutions. You will identify and develop strategic partnerships, expand our customer base, and ensure our biosolutions meet the evolving needs of health-focused brands and manufacturers.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset. They will have the ability to utilize available resources, and team members to drive new projects and sales across North America. This is a role with the purpose of driving growth through our entire portfolio and manufacturing capabilities.

This role is a remote position

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities in dietary supplements and early life nutrition sectors.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Solution Selling: Leverage our Strain to Solution platform to co-develop tailored probiotic offerings with clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, regulatory, marketing, and technical service teams to align customer needs with Novonesis capabilities.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement regional and global sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product positioning and innovation.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline data and provide regular performance updates to leadership

To Succeed you must hold:

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably within the health, wellness, dietary supplement, or food and beverage sectors.

  • Strong understanding of the probiotics industry and product development processes with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical or science-driven environment.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess market needs and identify opportunities.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable with a remote work environment (if applicable).

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global matrix organization

Expected salary range: $145,000-- $160,000 base + bonus Benefits you will enjoy:
