Explore your interest in earthquake geotechnical engineering by working on real-world seismic and soil stability projects.
- Conduct geotechnical field investigations, including soil sampling and site inspections.
- Develop engineering calculations and technical reports related to soil and rock properties, settlement, bearing capacity, liquefaction potential, slope stability, and site response analysis.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss technical challenges and collaborate on solutions.
- Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced engineers to help you grow professionally.
- Support proposal development, including defining technical scope and estimating engineering hours and project costs.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure project inputs are well-integrated and meet all engineering requirements.
- Travel to plant sites to meet with clients, perform walkdowns, and gather data on structures, systems, and components relevant to your project work.

What are skills that would be helpful to your success as a new graduate?
- Graduated or graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree from an ABET- accredited school with experience in applying geotechnical engineering principles.
- Master's or PhD degree in earthquake geotechnical engineering is highly preferred.
- Graduating May-June 2026 preferred.
- Available to start in May 2026 and August 2026.
- A solid working foundation with your major's core concepts.
- Understanding of geotechnical engineering fundamentals and applications
- Familiar with seismic and geotechnical analysis software such as GeoStudio, LPILE, PLAXIS, FLAC3D,and SHAKE etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
- Ability to effectively problem solve.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
- Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
- Must be able to work outside.
- Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
Interview and Employment Requirements:
- Completion of pre interview assessments.
- College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post-graduation.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.

Salary Range: The salary range for this full-time position is $79,000.00- $91,000.00. Salary ranges are determined by a combination of role, level, experience, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
