The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for Project Manager (Part-Time) to support our government customer in Orlando, Florida. ***This is a Temporary Part-time position. *** DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILIITIES:
- Supporting program planning support for the BST-21 program.
- Supporting the development of a Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS)
- Supporting work planning and scheduling for personnel.
- Supporting subcontractor management and reporting support.
- Participating in Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities.
- Supporting Risk Management; Quality Management; Configuration Management (CM); and Information Management for the program.
- Supporting the preparation and delivery of reports and documentation in accordance with the Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) and the requirements of the delivery order.
- Supporting in analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, procuring, delivering, installing, testing, verifying, and validating the BST-21 training systems, training system content, scenarios, and training system functional components and technical data.
- Preparing, conducting, and participating in conference reviews to include the following: Post Award Conference (PAC); Technical Manual Initial Guidance Conference (TMIGC); Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs); System Requirements Review (SRR); System Functional Review (SFR); Preliminary Design Review (PDR); Critical Design Review (CDR); Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs); Logistics Conferences and Reviews; Logistics Guidance Conference (LGC); Technical Manual Initial Guidance Conference (TMIGC); Training Program Orientation Conference (TPOC); Provisioning Item Selection Conference (PISC); Integrated Logistics Support Verification (ILSV) Conference; In-Process Reviews; Technical Documentation and Technical Data Package (TDP) In-Process Reviews (IPRs); Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM); Training ; and reoccurring IPT Meetings.
- Supporting and coordinating with On-Site Government representatives and various stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy, data, information, and reports developed are accurate and In Accordance With (IAW) Government requirements.
- Ensure all personnel assigned to the contract have the appropriate security clearance necessary to access information, facilities, and installation required.
- Supporting program management for all technical refreshes of system, subsystem, and components such as, Overall Supervisory System (OSS),Audio/Visual & Lighting Systems (AVLS), Light Controller, Bridge & Lookout Visuals, Scenic Elements Refurbishment/Replacement (Ship Exterior, Ocean Water Pool, Pier Facade, Pier Stores),
- Supporting System Survey and Analysis, Systems Engineering and Software Processes.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or other relevant field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. (desired)
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least four (4) years' experience required:
- Site Lead/Assistant Project Management experience.
- Training systems background, specifically Navy Training Systems (preferred).
- Supporting managing or assist supervising projects in the field of DoD training simulation systems or relevant disciplines.
- Experience preparing, drafting, and reviewing engineering change proposals (ECPs) in support of a program's change management process and IMS/IMP.
- Experience with system architecture and design, test, and experimentation.
- Experience expertise with integration, system and acceptance testing to include Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs).
- Lifecycle support experience including planning, design, building, testing, deployment and sustainment.
- Minimum of two (2) years:
- Experience interpreting contract actions, modifications and resolving complex programmatic issues as related to the Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Statement of Work (SOW).
- Experience leading integrated product teams (IPTs).
- Experience in supporting complex, mission-critical, strategic and advanced technology-based programs for customers.
- Experience with deputy or project management, task scheduling and budget control.
- Experience with overall strategic management including planning, contract level performance metrics and production of overall contract/task order support operations.
- Experience with management of personnel, production standards, and resources, quality and timely delivery of all contractual items.
