Overview
Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. Summary: CP Marine LLC, an Alaska Native company, seeks a seasoned program manager to support the Department of State, International Maintenance Assistance Program (IMAP) contract.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring successful execution of project objectives.
- Develop detailed program plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Track program progress, performance, and budget, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks or issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
- Ensure all programs comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Oversee the management of resources, including personnel, vendors, and materials, ensuring effective use of time and budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, addressing any concerns or questions throughout the program lifecycle.
- Facilitate meetings and provide leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure collaboration and alignment with program objectives.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and recommend improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- The program manager must be able to demonstrate his success with meeting government timelines managing contracts of similar size, scope and complexity.
- The program manager must be committed to devoting sufficient time to this contract and associated task orders.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects or programs from inception to completion.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years of full-time professional experience in management, public works related services/support, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a project principal or project director.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Must be a US citizen.
